- Choose to be happy. “Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you run after it, the more it run away, but if you drag the attention to other things, it will come and stand gently on your shoulder.” As much as this sounds nice quote by Henry David Torre, psychologists agree that it is correct. The truth is that you can choose to be happy. Decide consciously choose what behavior and the way of thinking that will lead to happiness. Get rid of negative emotions such as hatred, anger, contempt, pessimism, and learn to accept only positive thoughts and feelings.
- Believe that you deserve to be happy. There are people who underestimate themselves, have low self-esteem and believe they are destined to be unhappy. Every day try to be as different from those people. Convince that deserve to be happy and repeat the steps that you need to do to reach happiness.
- Be grateful for the things that you are blessed. Many live without recognize happiness in their lives and when an accident happens, begin to perceive how things possessed because that should be grateful. Do not do same error. Let us be your duty to express gratitude daily. Each day choose the 3 things for which you feel blessed and write on a sheet of paper.
- Embrace the optimism. Is the glass half-empty view or half-full? If you are optimistic, continue to see the lighter side of life, such as positive thinking will often put a smile on your face. If you are pessimistic, learn to recognize negative thoughts when they occur and find ways to turn into positive.
